Are you a veteran or milspouse small biz owner?

Photographer? Web designer? Handmade goods producer? Baker? Candlestick maker?

(Hey, I heard today about a vet who started a candy store. Anything’s possible!)

If you are a vet or spouse with your own business, there's a great opportunity to reach a broad new audience tomorrow on twitter!

I'm participating in a push to encourage people to "shop Veteran" for the holidays. Both Small Biz Saturday and Cyber Monday are right around the corner, so this is a prime time to get exposure for your business.

Tomorrow is The Concert for Valor at the National Mall in DC. Participating will be celebrities like Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Jack Black, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx, and many more! During the concert, I and some other milspouse bloggers will be using the concert platform to encourage viewers and attendees to “shop Veteran” and “shop milfam.” They’re expecting over 800,000 people to attend in person – that’s a HUGE potential audience!

(If you can’t be there in person, HBO and UStream are also airing the concert live!)

Follow me on twitter through the button over there on the right, and tweet a quick (70 characters or less) summary to me of your business, and I'll share with my followers! I'd love to help other spouses and vets get more exposure for their businesses!

And if you haven’t, hook up with The Rosie Network, it’s a FREE way to list your military family business and let consumers find you!

I was nice and didn't turn on word verifications. Please reciprocate by having your reply-to email set and not posting anonymously.
