I was thrilled when Jessica asked me to take some pre-deployment/maternity pictures for her. You probably don’t know, but we kind of have a history. I was telling someone just yesterday all about how Jessica was my very first bloggy-turned-real-life/active-duty-Army friend ever.
Years ago, when our soldiers were still in training, we had the opportunity to meet up back in Oklahoma. So it was serendipity that we got the same first duty station. I’m not going to lie, I’m more than a lot upset that she moved back home for our joint-first deployment. But I’m so very thankful she’s going to have her family around her to help her go from a mom of one adorable little guy to a mom of two sweet boys.
I also really enjoyed the chance to take some pictures around Ft. Bliss. I love this place and really want to take some time soon to get some lovely showcase pictures of the place. They gave me some great inspiration. (I know, I know, I said that last year, too, but this time I’m really going to do it!)
Thanks for letting me capture these special moments, sweet friend! Until we meet again!
