It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Yes, I'm finally getting around to posting decoration pictures! This year we actually have more than a tree and stockings! It's very exciting :) Last year, we were PCSing over Christmas, so no tree. Year before, we had just sold our house, SoldierMan was at BCT and I was living with my parents, so no tree. So this year, I was really excited to get some Christmas spirit going through the house!

Our tree has always been silver and blue, ever since we got married. I liked that it was Hanukkah colors, which in retrospect really doesn't make much sense, but I still like the color scheme, so we've kept it.

This is my simple little table set-up. I've had the silver tree since I was a teenager. I'm glad I was able to find a place for it this year.

And garland. Bought the garland at Walmart, and it's probably my favorite part of the house. And yes, I have out stockings hanging over the TV. They don't build fireplaces into houses in the desert, so you gotta go with whatchya got, ya know?

  3. I love the tree on the table! And we almost hung our stockings over the TV too. Maybe we'll have a fireplace in the next house :)

  8. I love your blue and silver tree! And the disney Hanukkah ornament made me smile. I do our little 3 foot tree in blue and silver, but that's because I loooove Hanukkah. Maybe I'll have to put together a little Passover meal and have all you girls over for Seder this year.
