- I know this isn't new, but I thought it was pretty funny:

I went to an unaffiliated Christian high school, where there were students from every one of these groups. This brought back a lot of fun memories. - I'm still trying to figure out this whole couponing thing. Let's say I find a printable coupon for $1 off 3 box dinners. The coupon specifically says 1 coupon per item - not per transaction or per purchase. I'm buying 3 items, right? Can I print 3 coupons and save $3 on 3 boxes? Or am I only allowed to use one coupon still? My guess is not, but that would be sweet.

- And, because I haven't stirred the pot enough today: Multi-Site Churches Are from the Devil Now, before you flip out at the hyperbolic title, I really recommend thoroughly reading the article AND the comments (because it was obvious from some of the responses that not everyone did). It's a really interesting discussion addressing some thoughts I've had rolling around in my head for a while.
- The other night I was on the couch working and Jeb walked up and kept trying to either push the top down or push the laptop off my lap. It took me a while to catch on but eventually his point came across.
Yes, I was working.

About the coupons, as far as I know, you can only use 1 for the 3 boxes and most websites only allow you to print a coupon twice.
ReplyDeleteAnd I see you on pinterest! Lol hard work....lol
I am still trying to figure out the whole couponing thing as well. I do okay at it, but I think I could get better. I need to get a planner/organizer (or make one!) and use it. I need that organization in my life.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture!!
For the coupon thing... $1 off the 3 boxes. If you have 2 coupons then you could get $2 off if you bought 6 boxes. So basically it is like getting 33.33 cents off each box but you have to buy in multiples of 3 and have a coupon for every 3. Make sense? I used to do a lot of coupon shopping when we were overseas. Every 6 months or so I would stock up on things like shampoo, soap, shaving cream, razors, toothpaste, etc.
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks like you are hard at work on pinterest!
1. That morning coffee pin = perfect.
ReplyDelete2. I love the look on your face in the picture with Jeb. So pretty! :)
I really enjoyed reading that post about multi-site churches. It brings up some very interesting points, and it goes along with a discussion that my husband and I have often. Oh, and the photo of Jeb in your lap is precious. What a big baby!
ReplyDeleteI loved that chart (I've never seen it before) I wonder where fundamentalist fit- possibly under evangelicals? I don't know. Thankfully the Lord has brought me from the crazy fundamentalist side to the reformed side of things. Also, have you looked at coupon closet? Thats a really easy site to follow for couponing- and when did couponing become a word/verb??
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful.
