Getting Ready for May
Next month, I'm going to have a fun theme for Movie Mondays: documentaries! Okay, maybe "fun" isn't quite the correct word, but I'm excited. I've got a long list to whittle down to 5 features, and I'm going to do this month's Movie Mondays a little differently. I want to give you all a chance to really engage in the Movie Monday discussions, so once I get my list finalized, I will give it to you, so you can watch them ahead of time with me and be part of the conversation.
So, because I know you guys are curious people who like to learn, like me, I'm opening this post to suggestions for my list. I've got almost a month to work through them all, so feel free to recommend any documentaries you have seen that you want to share.
Wow, this wasn't quite the exciting post I imagined it would be. Oh well. Don't forget to check out my giveaways this week! And be sure and share them!

sounds exciting to me! :O)
ReplyDeletewe liked watching the Young at Heart documentary. but i think you may have seen that one if i'm remembering correctly...
I love documentaries! A really good one is The Business of Being Born (which I love because I think I secretly want to be a midwife) but I can't wait to see which ones you recommend for me to watch :)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite documentaries is Dear Zachary. I don't want to describe it too much because I don't want to give away the twist, but it is really good and will probably also make you really angry.
ReplyDeleteOh you know I love a good movie review!
ReplyDeleteI watched a touching & interesting documentary on: Section 60 - Arlington National Cemetery. I learned quite about about the history as well as the newest Heroes laid to rest there.
ReplyDeleteOrgasmic Birth (the title is a little whoa but don't let that scare you off) is pretty amazing. I also loved Food Inc.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen The Way We Get By? If not, you have to see it! (I think you can watch it instantly on Netflix.) It's a great documentary about the Maine troop greeters. It was sad and touching all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love documentaries, so I'm interested to see which ones you recommend!
The best documentary I have seen lately was Ben Stein's Expelled but I believe you have watched that one already!
ReplyDeleteFun is exactly the word you should use! I can't wait. No suggestions yet...I'm still waking up
