Some St. Pat's Day Songs For Yeh

Today I'm linking up over at Goodnight Moon because I wanted to share some of my favorites from my favorite Irish Darlin's: Celtic Woman. Instead of just the music files, I really wanted to share the videos with you because, well, you'll see why.

This first is an instrumental. If you don't watch any of the others I post today, you should watch this one. This is the fiddler, Mairead. She is as much fun to watch as she is to hear. Click and see why:

Next is another one of my favorites by my favorite of the ladies, Orla: Isle of Inisfree:

And lastly, sorry, I just can't post about Celtic Woman without posting this song. Yes, it's not about Ireland, but, well, it's still my favorite :)

Go to Goodnight Moon above and link up!

  1. Okay, I seriously LOVE them! Everytime they are on PBS, we watch them as a family. I love all their music. I got to live in Ireland as a child, so it brings back so much memories to me. Thank you for linking up this week and sharing all the videos!!!!!! Loved them all! It makes me want to get up and dance!

  2. I love Celtic Woman. My mom and I watch them all the time. I actually got to meet Mairead back when she was still touring with LOTD. My mom got us tickets to see the show on my birthday {we were in London} and friends in the dance world told us where to go after to meet all the performers. Needless to say, it was a good 13th birthday :)

  3. Solidifies my desire to go to that part of Europe for a good long visit! I cannot believe what that first woman can do while playing. Incredible. Thanks for sharing a festive post!

I was nice and didn't turn on word verifications. Please reciprocate by having your reply-to email set and not posting anonymously.
