The last few weeks, a series of videos has been released that you need to be aware of.

Live Action is a citizen activist group that for the last 3 years has worked undercover to expose illegal activity within Planned Parenthood.

In the past, they have found multiple Planned Parenthood workers around the country who have agreed to engage in illegal activity. For example, the Mona Lisa Project was where a Live Action member posed as a 14-year-old girl who was asking for an abortion because her 35-year-old "boyfriend" had gotten her pregnant and she didn't want her parents to find out. In every single case (two dozen from all over the country) PP workers agreed not to report the statutory rape and not to seek out parental consent - both actions which are in direct violation of the law.

This is not rare. This is not isolated. This is Standard Operating Procedure for Planned Parenthood, as evidenced by the dozens of videos over the years from around the country. And this is paid for by your tax dollars.

The last couple of weeks, Live Action released video of a new investigation. This time, two members of Live Action drove around the county to various PP clinics and posed as "sex workers" - that is, a man posed as a Pimp and openly stated he used underaged ("like 14, 15 years old") illegal immigrant girls who didn't speak English, and wanted to make sure they could still get access to birth control and abortion services without his "sex business" being reported to authorities. Below is the first video. See how the manager of the clinic responds. (Warning: some of the dialogue is uncomfortable to listen to.)

(This is a little wide for my blog. Double-click the video to go to the original youtube site if you can't see the full thing here.)

Now, some of you may have heard or read something from Media Matters or NPR claiming these videos were "creatively edited." This is not true. The full video is available to watch on Live Action's website, linked above. This is exactly the substance and context of the full video.

Planned Parenthood also claimed that the manager reported this "sex worker" immediately after this conversation. This is also not true. PP fired the manager in the video (which is an odd thing to do if she did in fact comply with the law and report their illegal activity, which would mean she was unfairly terminated, in which case we would also be hearing from her, and we haven't) and merely reported to the FBI that they thought they were being videotaped without their consent. Slight difference.

Also, PP's CEO said he was "profoundly shocked" by the behavior of the manager in the video, two which I have two questions: 1) If you already knew about this conversation (implied by their insistence it was reported) why are you shocked to see it take place? and 2) if she was just "playing along" to get them to give her information to report to the authorities, what about her behavior is "repugnant"? Wasn't she just engaging in Entrapment? Still waiting to hear the answer to that one.

I really encourage you to go to Live Action and watch all the videos. It's not entertaining viewing, but we need to be aware of what is being done with our tax dollars and in the name of "helping women." It does not help women to aid human traffickers. It does not help women to send young girls back to child predators and to perform dangerous, invasive medical procedures on them without notifying their parents, who might be interested to know that their Jr. High student has a 35-year-old "boyfriend."

But mainly, I strongly encourage you to watch these videos because the mainstream media is counting that you won't. The mainstream media has been lying about these videos from Day 1, saying they are somehow faked or doctored, when nothing could be further from the truth (and you can see for yourself, by going to the website and watching the full, uncut video personally). They know they are lying, they are intending to lie, and we need to fight their lies by spreading the truth.

I say, again: this is not rare, this is not isolated. this is not uncommon. And until PP is held accountable for the actions of its employees, it will not stop.

  1. I'm not shocked but this makes me sick.

  2. I, too, am not shocked, but how awful! Thanks for exposing this to all of your readers. I am Pro-Life 100%, and I had no idea that this was oging on. Thanks for the insight.

  3. I am with Mrs. S....not shocked at all. Disgusting.

  4. I don't even know what to say, oh my goodness!

  5. It ticks me off that our tax money is funding this organization!
