If I Had a Million Dollars....
...this is what I would do today.
(No, I would not actually be participating in the half-marathon, just the after-party. Yes, you can do that.)
First, I'd get up at a leisurely hour and travel by limo to Cracker Barrel for a sumptuous breakfast....
...then, head to the salon to get all fixed up - the whole shebang: massage, make-up, nails and even hair extensions (because I'm tired waiting for my hair to grow back out)....
(sorry for the low-res photo. That's all my photographer gave me.)
...then, ride up to Atlanta and do some shopping and round it off with a late lunch at The Melting Pot...
...then, fly to Dallas for the Red River Shootout (yes, I said Shootout) to watch the Sooners snatch victory from the jaws of defeat yet again...
...then, fly to Disney World for their late-night Wine and Dine Party inaugurating the annual Epcot Food and Wine Festival...

..finally flying home in time to crawl into bed, get a heavy 6 hours of sleep and bound off to church in the morning.
Sounds like a perfect day to me. :)

ReplyDeleteOk, I've never been to the melting pot but I've heard SUCH good things about it and that looks SO YUMMY!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow that was a fun fantasy to walk through. I think I need to try the Melting Pot now :) Fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteI went to that party Saturday night. You didn't miss much. It was really crowded b/c they let in 12,000 runners plus their families and friends, which was nice but the entire World Showcase was packed. Also, the buses were a mess afterwards and the lines were really long--I waited 20 minutes for the bathroom. They did serve until 3:00 though and there was good music and fun.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm just trying to make you feel better. It was really fun. Disney knows how to throw a party.
