If I Had a Million Dollars....

...this is what I would do today.

First, I'd get up at a leisurely hour and travel by limo to Cracker Barrel for a sumptuous breakfast....

...then, head to the salon to get all fixed up - the whole shebang: massage, make-up, nails and even hair extensions (because I'm tired waiting for my hair to grow back out)....

(sorry for the low-res photo. That's all my photographer gave me.)

...then, ride up to Atlanta and do some shopping and round it off with a late lunch at The Melting Pot...

...then, fly to Dallas for the Red River Shootout (yes, I said Shootout) to watch the Sooners snatch victory from the jaws of defeat yet again...

...then, fly to Disney World for their late-night Wine and Dine Party inaugurating the annual Epcot Food and Wine Festival...

(No, I would not actually be participating in the half-marathon, just the after-party. Yes, you can do that.)

..finally flying home in time to crawl into bed, get a heavy 6 hours of sleep and bound off to church in the morning.

Sounds like a perfect day to me. :)

  3. What a lovely day :) First of all, I love cracker barrel, but mostly for their veggies. And Disney World sounds amazing right now, especially since the weather is cooling off. Oh, if only for that million dollars.. *sigh* :)

  11. I went to that party Saturday night. You didn't miss much. It was really crowded b/c they let in 12,000 runners plus their families and friends, which was nice but the entire World Showcase was packed. Also, the buses were a mess afterwards and the lines were really long--I waited 20 minutes for the bathroom. They did serve until 3:00 though and there was good music and fun.

Okay, I'm just trying to make you feel better. It was really fun. Disney knows how to throw a party.
