Shame, Shame

Yes, I have been a crappy BB as of late.

I'm trying to catch up on the commenting, I promise. That's my mission for today. SoldierMan got another surprise 3-day, so the laptop stayed untouched. Also, Friday was spent away from the laptop because I was waiting up on post for SoldierMan to get released...all afternoon....*sigh*. Listen. I know people talk about stupid Army inefficiency and stuff. But this is beyond. That's all I'm saying.

Anyway, believe it or not, I have a series of semi-serious heavy-hitting posts in the works, touching on a variety of subjects. Things I've been rolling around in the head for a while. And I'll try and get at least the first one posted this week. I may not be posting here as much in the interim, just so I'm not using my time and juices that way.

However, I will be doing my best to keep up with all of y'all's posts and back to my regularly-scheduled commenting.

In the meantime, I've got a migraine-inducing crick in my neck that just isn't working itself out. So I'm going to spend some time on that now.

Giveaway is coming! I promise!

  7. The Army was not my friend yesterday!! Mark's platoon didn't get out until around 4. When I heard 4th plt got to leave at 10am I thought I would die of jealousy!! I said to Mark, "But, didn't you tell them it's my birthday?!" LOL Don't think the Army cares...oh well!

Hopefully they'll make it up to me with some orders this week!!!

  8. I think the Army inefficiencies are worse in TRADOC. When we were at Benning (Fall 2007 for BOLC2, and I say we because I lived in a hotel room) I let my husband take the car on a Friday (didn't want to get up at 0400 to drive him to PT) since it would be an early day. I think that was the latest day he had the entire 7 weeks! They made all of the guys scrub the floors on their hands and knees with little scrubby sponge things. What is the point with that??
