"I’ve got two daughters who will have to make their way in this skinny-obsessed world, and it worries me, because I don’t want them to be empty-headed, self-obsessed, emaciated clones; I’d rather they were independent, interesting, idealistic, kind, opinionated, original, funny - a thousand things, before ‘thin’. And frankly, I’d rather they didn’t give a gust of stinking chihuahua flatulence whether the woman standing next to them has fleshier knees than they do. I was saying the SAME THING on Thurs. SO ANNOYING!!
ReplyDeleteI am SO with you!
ReplyDeleteYou can't even pay attention to the game they are so distracting!
ReplyDeleteHaha you're too funny!
ReplyDeleteI actually like soccer but haven't been watching. It is annoying that everyone on Facebook keeps talking about it all...lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously. I'm all for watching the soccer, but I wish there were a way to mute the crowd!
ReplyDeleteI haven't even been watching! I don't even like soccer.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I hate those things!
ReplyDeleteThe only game that I have seen was the US one last night. But here in Germany, everyone is going NUTS-O! They just won another game, & my little Bavarian town is practically upside down with excitement! Car horns, fog horns, waving flags, car flags, car side mirror flags...you get the point :)
ReplyDeleteI miss American patriotism!

I can't believe you said that! :)
ReplyDeleteSoccer is amazing and the vuvuzelas are a part of this time. Depending on which country is playing, there are either a lot or just a few. Just watch a Germany game and you will be amazed by all the chanting with hardly any vuvuzelas.
