Where the Wind Comes Sweeping Down the Plains
Okay, I really AM trying to cut back on the double-posting, but I have to get this out of my system.
I am having a freak-out. Tomorrow I have a family shoot for a LARGE family group (like cousins and all!) most of which are small children (which intimidate the crap out of me) and this wind is blowing a-gale, as my mother says.
Seriously, I'd rather deal with cloudy, overcast skies than wind. Lighting I can fix. Windblown hair and clothes, notsomuch.
I'm trying to offset my stress today with some comfort food and shopping, but it's not working too well. I really need this wind to be GONE tomorrow.
Please pray that this wind lets up. Or else, that the family I'm meeting tomorrow (that I haven't worked with before) is agreeable to paying the extra $$$ to taking the shoot inside. It would be much easier on us all.

Oh gosh, I hope it all calms down for you! But hey, the extra money would be nice, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteI really hope the weather decides to cooperate with you.
ReplyDeleteYoung children terrify me.

ReplyDeletefingers crossed!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your photo shoot... I just found you through one of the other blogs I follow:) I like your blog so I shall start following:)
ReplyDeleteIt'll all work out great! If you kneel down and look the kids in the eye when you talk to them-like they're real people ;) they'll respond really well. Can't wait to see the pics!
ReplyDeleteI'll cross my fingers for you! The wind blowing is really starting to get on my nerves lol :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be crossing my fingers for you that it works out!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, I hate that kinda stress. That's why I don't do photography for hire anymore. I shot my last wedding this summer (minus if my little sister gets married). Yay for digital though, it does make things much easier then the day when you had to have 20+ rolls of film. :-)
ReplyDeleteHope the weather goes your way. Let us know how it went!
