MilSpouse Bloghop

Welcome, Bloghoppers!

It's been a LONG time since I've done one of these, so you'll have to bear with me. :)

Allow me to introduce myself: I am JG, married to SoldierMan.

I love my God, my husband and my country intensely.
Everything else is secondary.

I am a brand-new milwife to a brand-new Army officer.

Sooner-born and Sooner-bred (and Sooner football fanatic!), moving to Georgia temporarily for the Army (in fact, that's where I am right now, but I'm not here permanently yet).

I am a Christian, a photographer, aspiring author scribbler, bookworm, Disney-obsessed and sci-fi geek, all of which I talk about on here.

To really get to know how I think and how I blog, check out my "top hits" list:

Or, just read the links I've put on the right sidebar under "About Me."

That pretty much sums me up. Thanks for stopping by!

If I haven't hit your blog yet, please be patient! I am currently in the throes of my first PCS. So blogging and commenting has taken a backseat. I'll catch up soon, though!

P.S. If you haven't yet, check out the link at the top about having your reply-to email address set. Don't know what the reply-to email address is? :) Well, that's why I wrote the post!

Oops, I forgot: If you'd like to get into the bloghop as well, click below!

I'd love to tell you something fabulous to see in GA but well...it's Columbus. Make it a point to get to the ATL aquarium, the Peachtree Mall (gotta walk through cartier), and the garden!

    P.S. I won't hold the Sooner things against you, promise...I married a Longhorn :)

  7. Thanks for saying hi =)

I read your "God gave me scars" posts - beautiful. I'm so glad they caught your defects in time. Allie was 6 days old before we knew about hers. She technically had coarctation of the aorta too, but HLHS causes coarctation.

ANYWAY - I look forward to following you! You are right, there is a bond with heart families like none other.

  14. So glad you got a chance to join us. (If I didn't see your name on the list, i was going to add it because everyone absolutely HAS to follow you!) How are things going? Loved your bio. Why did you cross out "aspiring writer?" Girl, be proud! You're an amazing writer! And as long as I've been following you, I don't think I've ever known that you're an aspiring writer. I've been an aspiring writer for, oh I don't know, all my life! We should swap stories.

    Take care!
    Hugs and kisses,
    Me

  17. I'm here from the blog hop :) Don't worry, PCS stays stressful no matter how many times you have to go through one. But the process does get a bit easier. I got good tips from my grandmother when I had my very first.
