Words of Wisdom Wednesday

Don't forget to post some questions for my Q&A post, coming soon!
I'm trying using MckLinky this time instead of Mr. Linky. We'll see how this goes.

Here is my quote today:

"War is one of the most calamitous consequences of evil. It is catastrophe. It is always ugly. It should never be glamorized, and no sane person should ever desire the conflict or savor the strife of war. There are times, however, when evil makes warfare absolutely necessary. And when we have a moral obligation to fight, we should never shirk that duty, compromise with the enemy, or enter the battle halfheartedly. As detestable as warfare of any kind might be, there are causes for which not fighting is a far greater evil." ~ John MacArthur, "The Truth War."

  1. This quote is so true. War is never the best option but sometimes it is the only option.

  2. Hello! I'm your newest follower. Love the quote. Wish I had a good one...maybe next week. Looking forward to reading more of your posts!

  3. Hi there! I'm new to your blog, but I know how you feel about the hurry up and wait! My hubby went to BCT this summer (at Benning) and is now at AIT in Fort Gordon, GA...just a couple hours away from Benning. I'm also an Oklahoman...and HUGE Sooner fan! =)I really hate living in GA...I'd much rather be in OK!
