Friday Randomness

I had a whole section here regarding the misunderstanding with the new URL and following. Of course, if you were having issues, you never saw it, so it was pointless. So I've deleted it. Suffice it to say, it turned into an even bigger problem than I realized. Blogger doesn't exactly give you instructions on what to do about all of that, so if you had problems, I apologize. Again, I had no idea what I was doing.

That being said, thanks to all of you who did comment requesting to remain a follower. Nothing brightens an otherwise gloomy day like having someone say they actually care about what you have to say. And that sounded way more pathetic than I meant it, but you know what I mean. And hey, now you get a fun giveaway to be part of, right? Your cow pictures are cracking me up, btw!
So I know I've been whining talking a lot about moving, leaving people and places and all that. And you all have been very encouraging and understanding, which I appreciate. However, every now and then, something comes up that, well, I won't miss. I don't want to be too specific here. And this is probably the wrong way to look at it, but let's just say there are some people/places/things I won't miss around here. Very few, to be sure. But I'll take whatever silver lining I can find.
Speaking of how much your lovely comments brighten up my day :)

I have spoken before of having your settings such that when you leave a comment, I receive it with a reply-to email attached.

For example, when I comment on your blogs, you should be able to respond to anything I post simply by hitting "reply" from your email box.

I don't always have something to reply, but occasionally something extremely clever strikes me, and I will go to respond, and see there is no reply-to email.
Sad face.

Now, I know that not everyone has this set up, and usually it's because it's a little hidden, how to do that. So here, for those of you who have been wondering (because I had to learn from someone else's blog) are the instructions to set up the reply-to function.

1. On the Blogger dashboard, click on Edit Profile.
2. Check "Show My Email Address"
3. Click "Save" at the bottom.

And voila! Reply-to function is activated :)
Talked to SoldierMan last night. Apparently, next week is when they find out what 2LT slots are available for their class. Of course, that will probably result in increased pressure on the OCs. But at least it will be nice to know something!!
In the spirit of Friday Randomness, here are some random pictures from the photoshoot I had last week. If I had anything like regular clients, these would be them (they?).

It pretty much exemplifies my style - they dress the kids up, we go to the park, let them run around, and I follow them around with my camera for an hour or two. After a while, the kids get comfy enough to goof and pose in front of the camera of their own volition. It's so much fun, and I think the shots turned out pretty well.

I was nice and didn't turn on word verifications. Please reciprocate by having your reply-to email set and not posting anonymously.
