Home and Winners!!

Hi everyone.

I am home and actually sitting at my computer. Such a good feeling! The commenting will resume in the morning, I promise! :) I've missed talking with you all, not gonna lie.

To follow-up a previous post, I am going to call the base clinic tomorrow morning and see what I can do. I know I'm ultimately going to get referred out, because I am an adult with a congenital heart condition - and the typical cardiologist (in my experience) looks at me like I'm made of computer parts when they try and treat me. So I know I'm going to begin a long process tomorrow, I just wish there was a manual or something! Thankfully, I called a friend of mine who is an AF wife (ret.) and she gave me some names and numbers to help expedite the process. FYI, if any of you are medically educated, my BP this afternoon when I checked it (at Walmart) was 145/87. I know the drug store BP measurements are not known for being the most accurate, and I'm keeping that in mind. I also have a history of stress-induced hypertension, but it's been a few years since it's popped up.

Anyway, on to happier things. It's time to announce the winner of my giveaway!

I didn't use random.org. I like the old-fashioned tearing up a junk mail envelope into small pieces and writing your names on them and then jumbling them up in a bag and drawing one out method. So, without further ado, the winner is: Jessica! Go check out her blog, which has as it's header the cutest little guy with one of my favorite names, Mason. :)

Congrats, Jessica!! Email me or comment and I'll email you back so I can get your address!

And it's nice to be back. Trip blog coming soon!

I was nice and didn't turn on word verifications. Please reciprocate by having your reply-to email set and not posting anonymously.
