Thank You

"Our God and soldier we alike adore. At the brink of danger, not before. After deliverance, both alike requited. Our God's forgotten and our soldiers slighted." ~ Oliver North

Thanks to my grandpa, who fought in Korea.

Thanks to my uncle, one of the first Green Berets.

Thanks to my uncle, who fought in Vietnam.

Thanks to all my cousins and friends who have served since and are serving now.

And thanks to the families they leave behind. I've never appreciated your sacrifice more than I do today.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." ~ John Stuart Mill

  1. OH my gosh.. I love that commercial. My facebook status was dedicated to it yesterday. It was definitely tear worthy.

BTW... how do you feel about becoming fb friends? :)
