Half-Time Report

So tonight marks Day 2 of our foray into P90X. Can I just say.....ugh.....I will NOT want to get out of bed in the morning!

I was eating lunch with my brother this afternoon, and I said, "Yeah, just a month and SoldierMan leaves." My brother's 15, so he doesn't even remember a time without SoldierMan being in our lives; he really is the big brother. And I guess he didn't really realize it was so soon, so it took him back for a minute.

Then he said, "You know, not very many people get the chance to live their dream. And it's really cool that he's getting to. So it's a good thing."

Perspective. We all need it once in a while.

Now, I'm off for a half-time pedicure, then ready for my boys to pull out some Sooner Magic in the 3rd.

  1. My sisters are the same way 17 & 15 they do not remember a time without Kiale either. They are both taking him leaving really hard, aren't we all though...

I have heard that the P90X was really intense, cannot decided if I want to try it out or not.

  2. Sean was NOT pleased about the score of the game. Me being a Cowboys fan...I have to say I wasn't too upset.

So...your husband is leaving for bootcamp right? Do I have that correct? Feel free to email me to answer that question.

  6. I've heard a lot about the P90x stuff, I might need to try it. I'd be worried that my kids would sit on the couch and laugh though, lol. Maybe I am better off running at the gym.

My husband is dreading the day he has to stop dressing up and playing GI Joe. It's good to love what you do, I just wish I could figure it out!
