Diptacular: 1 More Day!!

It's Diptacular day over at BooMama. And so, in honor of kickoff tomorrow night(!!!) I am going to post my tradition game-day dip recipe, also known as 1-2-3 dip. Though my secret name for it is No-Heartburn Cheese Dip.

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 2 cans Rotel (I use mild because the heat does not get diluted at all)
  • 3 boxes Cream Cheese (I may try low-fat this year)

  1. Turn on crockpot. (High if you need it within a few hours) Dump in Cream Cheese and Rotel.
  2. Brown and crumble sausage. Drain. Dump in crockpot.
  3. Mix together as best you can, since cream cheese will still be mostly solid for a while. Continue to stir every 10-15 minutes or so until cream cheese melts completely.
  4. Once everything is melted and mixed, keep on low, stirring frequently to avoid scalding.
  5. Eat it.

Serves a party. (With leftovers.)
It's seriously the best stuff ever.

And remember, my giveaway is coming up very soon - within a week!

  1. This sounds so good!! I can't wait to try it and I love Oklahoma's coach!

  2. Yum...I definitely have to try this one...I love how easy it is, too! Just found you through BooMama and wanted to say hi from one Sooner to another...Boomer! :)

  3. Ok, stupid foreigner question of the day: What's rotel?

  4. Can I answer the Rotel question...pick me! pick me!
I stopped by because I am looking for a good and easy dip recipe. I have seen this one pop up more than once, so I think i will just try it!
